I changed my signature from red to pencil. I love the red but I realize it isn't necessarily always my clients' cup of tea. It's a fine balance between liking my own work and doing what my clients want. This time, I opted for what I think my clients would like. In any case, the more subtle signature keeps the focus on the artwork.⠀

I love triangles! The red, incomplete triangle has become my sigil, if I may be so geeky to use that word. 😂 I love red, it evokes feelings of intensity and energy. The incomplete triangle is a nod to the fact that a artwork is never reaaally complete, at least in my eyes, and definitely never perfect. In starting Clara Create, I had to make peace with this, and be okay that I'll sometimes create things that aren't EXACTLY what I wanted to be.

9/100 Fluffy, what a cutie! This one was a challenge! I wanted to capture her light fur, but on white paper it's difficult to use light colours too - if there isn't enough contrast the result can be dull. I opted to add more shadows than I usually do. I'd love to hear what you think of it. 😊⠀

I've been so inspired by the print I bought from @lorraineloots that I just had to try one of my own. It was an incredible challenge! I started in watercolour, but it was too hard, so I opted for coloured pencil. The starry highlights are done with gouache. Thank you for the inspiration Lorraine, you are my art role model.⠀
